Como parte de la planificación de cara al Torneo Clausura 2025, CSD Municipal oficializa un nuevo cambio en la delantera escarlata; de mutuo acuerdo, la institución carmesí y el futbolista Eduardo Matías Rotondi han rescindido contrato para que el argentino pueda vincularse a un importante equipo centroamericano.
Rotondi provino del fútbol hondureño a Guatemala para el Torneo Apertura 2021, específicamente con Deportivo Malacateco. En aquel campeonato marcó en 18 ocasiones y fue artífice del título de los ‘toros’.
Luego se vinculó a Municipal para el Clausura 2022. Desde entonces hasta la fecha, anotó 59 goles y participó con 13 asistencias en Liga Nacional, sumó también tres anotaciones en Concacaf. Acumuló más de 8,700 minutos siendo uno de los jugadores más regulares del plantel, participando en al menos 133 juegos oficiales.
